Dive Travel Reports are - by definition - highly subjective. What we like may very well be what others hate. We like tropical, remote, isolated, little dived destinations: others may prefer crowded, noisy places with a big night life.

However, some parameters still apply: as divers of some experience, we basically look for clean and comfortable accomodation, good food, reliable dive guides, safe boats, good visibility, spectacular landscapes.and, most important of all, great marine life.

Of course, this is subjective too: what is absolutely wonderful for us might be of absolutely no consequence to others. We are partial to macro life, but in all honesty, we like everything: small fish, big fish, macro critters, soft corals.you name it.

The rarer, the stranger, the weirder - the better. In these pages you will find some ruminations on places we've visited and dived - often several times over many years - which we hope may be of some interest to you, and which will maybe tickle your curiosity. Who knows, perhaps you'll want to visit them and dive there too.

Of course we mention what we like, but we also mention what we dislike - in short, we try to be impartial. We avoid giving info on flight tickets, restaurants, documents, visas and so on, however.

That stuff is boring and highly subject to change - better leave it to travel guides and tourist offices. We just talk about the place and the diving. So what are you waiting for? The water's perfect - just jump in!
